HOW TO START AN ONLINE BUSINESS ~ Four-Step Strategy for a quick results!

It goes without saying that anyone with a computer, can make a lot of money,
working from home or anywhere! Just do a simple Internet search for “online business,
or “work from home business opportunity,” and you’ll be almost overwhelmed
with the search-results! 


A major fact to consider when choosing a marketing niche,
is that shopping is exclusively relaxing and therapeutic because of its

That’s why I choose the retail shopping niche! You can start your own business with ease. 


First, I spent one day setting everything up, 
Next, I read and learned marketing strategies.
Third step, I made connections, 
And Finally, I started seeing the cash! 


I’m retired, and work full-time. So, your success depends on You, your work ethic,
and the time you have to invest in building your business. But either way, you are
the CEO of your own business, and once you actually get started, it can only get easier,
continue to grow and get better. Right?


So, let’s get started!
STEP 1: Choose a marketing platform. I use Shopify.
This software platform has a free ‘school’, called the Shopify Academy,
that teaches you everything you need to know, from setting up your store,
to choosing products and adding copy for your ads, to marketing your business,
SEO Optimization, to networking via a community forum. But there are many such
platforms. Do your research... Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, Salesforce, the list goes on and on. 


Whatever you choose to use, be sure you are provided adequate,
regular, personal access to support & help. That will
save you both time and aggravation! 


STEP 2: Learn your marketing software.
Take a day, or 2, or even a week or 2, to just click on every, single button
in your software dashboard, or main home page.
This is essential, and will save you tons of time in future-use of the software,
when adding products, updating information, and processing orders. Basically,
getting familiar with “your office” gets you paid a lot faster in the long-run.
This is why I suggest doing this step before anything else!


STEP 3:  Set up & “stock” your store,  Add products.
Use descriptions that help potential buyers know the value of purchasing your product,
instead of buying it elsewhere. What makes your product different or better?
How will it improve or change the potential-buyers’ life?
Use enticing, exciting, easy-to-understand, most important -- accurate words! (Never use misleading or inaccurate descriptions in your ads.)


Make sure your photos are professional-looking.
The platform software should provide your best help for this step.
Shopify provides users with “Apps” that automatically connect to your store’s software,
helping you choose quality products, share with partner-sites, and
help with email-marketing and even promotion of  your products.


STEP 4: Tell the world you’re open for business! Advertise. Advertise. Advertise. Advertise. Advertise.
You get the picture!

As you read and learn, begin to implement the strategies as you go.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes...that’s how to learn!
And don’t be shy about talking about your business to others.
For family and friends, you simply want them to be aware of your endeavor.

For strangers, you want to offer them assistance or help that will improve their lives
or give them something they want...health, wealth, good-feelings are usually on the top
of the list. But do your research. Search the latest and hottest trends,

Learn to Use Your Time Wisely to make Money

Learn to use your time wisely if you want to make money, whether working online or offline.

It's easy to get side-tracked when you work from home. So before you go off with your friends or family on an errand, think about it. Consider if you are going to profit from taking the time to go on that errand.

Set times for errands and time for profit-earning tasks. Establish a schedule and stick to it!

Learn to say "No," in a nice, polite way, and help your family and friends to understand that you have to work to make money, although you may be self-employed.

If you are working in an office, discipline yourself to complete tasks before taking that much-deserved break. Even if your boss is "bossy," IMPRESS the boss with your work-ethic. In the long run, YOU are the one who will benefit. Make written notes of the tasks you complete without taking a break, and when, and if, you decide to leave that employment, you will be able to refer back to your written notes and actually document those "break-sacrifices" in a cover letter that accompanies your Resume, indicating how you saved the company money and increased their productivity!

Remember, you will make more money faster if you always use your time wisely. Don't let others "waste" your time with idle chit-chat when there is a task at-hand. The old cliche that "time is money" is a true statement whether you work online or offline!

5.       There are hundreds of online articles and programs that serve as an instructional guide for small business. Study and then implement what you’ve learned.

No matter what kind of business you are interested in starting, it’s important to learn and grow and develop and learn some more, and grow more and re-develop to keep your business viable and profitable. But the first thing you have to do, is build a relationship with your niche.

There are many ways to do this, and it’s not that difficult. Once you know the secret to building a relationship with your targeted niche market, it’s quite easy, and will only take a short period of time, on a regular scheduled basis, to keep things going. (For instance, it will take you about an hour each day, or ½ hour twice a day, or maybe 2 hours every 3 days. But you must be consistent. More about this later...)

Here are some fun and easy ways to build a relationship with your target niche.
·         Join forums. Sign up for forums that discuss the topics that interest you, or forum discussions that have interest in the things you are selling.

·         Create Link Backs on your blog. If you read an article or enter a discussion in a forum that relates to what you have to offer, create a Link Back between that article and your blog. Mention it on your blog, giving it acknowledgment as an article of value, and you have quickly begun to build a relationship with the author!

·         Create an email that you can check regularly, and give this email address to your customers. Let them know that they can contact you for questions and comments on your offer. But make sure you check this email everyday or so, to reply to them! (I mentioned this consistency a few paragraphs back.)


·         Sign up for Google Voice Mail or a toll-free message number, so that customers can leave a message or call you with their concerns. The main line is KEEP IN TOUCH.

·         Make your ad copy enticing and inviting. Remember that Customer Service can come alive on the Internet if you put your personality in your ad copy, reassuring customers that you will provide customer service for them. ·         Sell Yourself, not your stuff. Everybody likes a bargain and everybody likes to buy something valuable that will make their lives better, easier, and happier. But nobody likes to be sold. Get it? So, when you are trying to sell on a budget, remember to just be yourself and put your personality into your ad copy. Tell your potential buyers how your product or service will make their lives better, easier or happier. Solve a problem for them. Be clever, unique and entertaining.
